My love for nails began when I was a little girl growing up in South Africa, sticking on plastic tips and pretending to have long, beautiful nails. That childhood curiosity soon grew into a true passion for the nail industry.

I completed my professional nail training in London while living in the UK for four years. After returning to South Africa, I began working full-time as a nail technician and quickly progressed to salon manager within my first three months. A year later, I opened my own home-based nail salon and continued developing my skills and love for the craft.

After moving to New Zealand, I worked in a salon in Takapuna before life led me briefly in another career direction. However, my passion for nails never faded. Today, I am proud to have reopened my home salon, Jonell Mongie Nails, based in Gulf Harbour, Whangaparāoa.

I am honoured to be part of the team as a Brand Representative for these internationally recognised products. As a nail technician myself, I understand how important it is to work with reliable, high-performing products. I am passionate about sharing products that I truly trust and believe in.

I love connecting with fellow technicians and salons, supporting them with product knowledge, and helping them find what works best for their business. I look forward to meeting new clients, demonstrating these fantastic products, and assisting with any product-related questions along the way.
