I’m a passionate educator with over 20 years of experience working in the nail and beauty industry and more than 10 years of teaching experience.

 

I’m lucky enough to divide my time between sunny Nelson and the wild, beautiful West Coast of the South Island. Both places have shaped who I am and bring a wonderful balance of creativity, adventure and inspiration to my life and work.

 

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of not only working within the beauty industry but also helping others develop their own skills, confidence and careers. Teaching is something I truly love. For me, it’s about much more than demonstrating techniques, it’s about sharing knowledge, encouraging confidence, supporting individual learning styles and helping students discover what they are capable of.

 

With many years of hands-on industry experience behind me, I aim to bring real-world knowledge and practical skills into my teaching. I love helping students build the technical ability, professionalism and confidence they need to succeed while having fun and being creative.

 

I’m incredibly passionate about our industry and feel very fortunate to be able to combine my love of nails and education and art. Watching students grow from beginners into confident, capable nail professionals is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
